The Montgomery Homestead, in Damascus, Virginia, is a 1920's Arts and Crafts style home where you can forget life's stresses and slip back in time to a slower and more simple way of life.
Beginning in January 2010 we have had to make some changes at our inn. Breakfast will be served during Race Weekends and during Appalachian Trail Days. During the rest of the year, guests will be free to sleep as late as they want and eat breakfast at one of the great restaurants in Damascus. Prices will be adjusted accordingly.
Your hostess, Susie Montgomery, will make you feel right at home as she shares with you the many adventures that can be experienced in our peaceful mountains.
The large living room has a comfortable sofa, library with a variety of books and magazines, and cable t.v. The music room has a piano, recliner, and a variety of musical instruments for our guests to enjoy.
Many of our guests enjoy the large front yard which has a swing and several Adirondack chairs.
We are located right across the street from the Appalachian Trail.
